Jay: BINGO!!! My assistant (my dad) was using all sorts of symbols to note what the person is charged with but can't be used in a file name on a Windows computer. I never thought to look at that. I changed the names and VOILA, I can see my files on my Surface. Thank you.

I use Dropbox on several devices - ipads, iphone, iMac, Windows 10 Desktop and a Surface Pro/Windows 10. Because I have a large Dropbox folder and cannot store all of my files on my Surface, I am using Smartsyc. I am trying to do some billing on clients and opened a particular client's file on my Surface (my computer of choice). I noticed that it was missing some necessary documents. My assistant looked at the same client's file on his iMac and said that the missing documents were in his file for that client. We share the SAME DROPBOX ACCOUNT - same login, password, everything. I checked on my iPhone and yes, the documents were there too. BUt when I checked my Desktop? SHAZZAM!! The same documents were missing. Why can I not find all of the documents when I look on my Surface or Desktop? Smartsync is apparently not working. How can I fix this, given the fact that I cannot go back to having my entire Dropbox downloaded on my Surface? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I cannot operate with only part of the information needed.
