Hi Team, I created a Plus account with my Apple ID, I used hide my mail option so I got a relay alias (I renamed the default given name). Since I noticed that verification email is not being sent to my primary mail, I checked Apple ID setting for Dropbox and to my surprise Apple has registered different address than the one in Dropbox account. It is not possible to update relay address on Apple site and the Dropbox chat support said via chat that they cannot update on their site, I was left in a limbo. Perhaps unlinking Apple ID from Dropbox will help but I'm afraid that upon new login with Apple ID it will create a new account and my paid plan will be lost.24Views0likes4CommentsI cannot access my DropBox Plus account anymore, email address was deleted.
Dear DropBox Staff. I have a very serious problem. My work email address was deleted, and all email addresses from the organization I worked for were deleted. That is the email address where the verification code is being sent in order for me to log in into my DropBox Plus account. So I cannot access my DropBox Plus account anymore. I don't find any email in the FAQ, the online chat cannot help me either. I don't find any phone number where I can call and ask for help. Yesterday, my time from 8:00, my computer was encrypted. I have two files on DropBox that I cannot function without. I remember the password to DropBox (the account was created around 2009). Unfortunately, for some time DropBox has introduced that in order to get to the account, you have to enter a code that was sent to the email. The email account was also created around 2009 and since then I have never logged in again (I am not sure about the password to the email). It seems that the email account has been disabled due to the lack of login. I wrote to the provovedar but contact with the service is difficult. How can I download two files from my account. I know their name, date. I have access to all files but they are encrypted. One folder was shared with another user but these two files that are important to me are not there. Dear Support, I have a customer who is experiencing issues accessing the "Shared" folder in Dropbox. He is presented with a prompt that says "Confirm your email" along with a button labeled "Send confirmation email." After clicking the button, he receives an email with a "Verify your email" button. However, when he clicks this button, he is redirected back to the Dropbox homepage, and nothing has changed. If he navigates to the "Shared" section again, the same message, "Confirm your email," appears. Also when he trys to share a Dropbox file as link he is meet by the prompt "You cannot share until you have confirmed your email address." Need help. I’m getting messages I’m running out of space. I’d like to fix, however. I think I have a unique problem and cannot contact Dropbox for ‘support’ (ha). I’m a part of a group, a church group … just a few of us. Two problems: 1 – our ‘owner’ of the account passed away. How do we switch the administrator to me? I can have our church treasurer send an email verifying the person’s death.
