I'm having trouble with image previews in Dropbox on my Windows 11 machine. Whenever I click on a JPEG image to preview it, the image appears in a small, fixed-size window. I can't seem to resize the window or zoom in on the image, even though I've tried using the scroll wheel and the zoom controls. I'm running Dropbox version 216.3.4345 and Windows 11 version 26100.2605. I've already tried updating my graphics drivers, adjusting the display settings in Windows, and reinstalling Dropbox, but the issue persists. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions?60Views0likes12CommentsError code -36 in Finder: Can't complete the operation because some data cannot be read or written.

I just installed dropbox locally on Windows and when I try searching for a file, the file comes up quickly in the search, but if I try just double clicking to open the file it give me error "File not found it may have been moved, edited or deleted." But if I just right click on the search and found file, and then select "Open file location", the exact folder opens, I can now double click on the file and open it without a problem. Any help on resolving this would be appreciated. Thanks!30Views0likes3CommentsMy files sync as online-only, but I need to make them available offline. How do I do this?
I keep virtually all my files on drop box so I have them continuously backed up. I have about 700gb of data used for this. I just bought a new computer with windows 11 and after getting drop box up and running it appeared that all my stuff was synced up. I thought it was going to take several house to copy over that much data but it only took about 20 minutes. Now I am discovering that many of my file are actually "off line" and when I open them I have a lag waiting for the file to come over the internet. I often have a need to use my computer when there is no internet connection and I must have all my file available on my C drive. How can I get all my files onto my c drive? Is this something that is actually happening in the background and I am just not seeing it? (I only got it working yesterday)92Views0likes8CommentsI have no thumbnails of local images on my Mac
I have synced folders with hundreds of images. It's essential to be able to view the thumbnails. When I moved to a new laptop (mac), I now can not make the thumbnails show, it's just the generic icon. This is not a problem with my finder, all local items have thumbnails. This is not a problem on my previous computer (using the same OS). I have selected all items and made them "available offline" which got rid of the grey clouds, but still no thumbnails. Dropbox app will not open. When I open the app it just opens the file explorer. I have already checked the Taskbar and it's not showing up there. I have also checked the taskbar setting and there is no option to show Dropbox application. Any help is greatly appreciated. Since the last few days, the Dropbox icon in the menu bar (MacOS) has stopped displaying files and folders. As soon as I type "files or folders" in the search bar, it displays all contents. Any changes I make (add / delete) are reflected when I use the search bar. I've tried various solutions suggested by Dropbox and other posts on the net, including uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing works. Any assistance would be appreciated.68Views0likes11CommentsPossible bugs with Photo Files when selecting content inside the Dropbox folder.
Windows 11 Pro, OS build 22631.4602 Dropbox v214.4.5217 1) When I double click a photo to open it / download it locally within Dropbox in File Explorer it auto downloads the 2 photos to the left and 2 photos to the right. It doesn't happen every time, not exactly sure what the trigger is. 2) In a large folder with lots of photos if I right click to set as desktop background it works but jumps the placement of the scroll wheel to the top, losing my place within the folder.24Views0likes1CommentRe: Stable Build 214.4.5217
Family Room icon is missing on Mac, and when viewed under Get Info, the icon flickers on and off. Have tried: - Turning folder off entirely via selective sync, then back on - Making folder online-only - Downloading entire folder Here's a link to a screen recording: link removed to avoid traffic.37Views0likes1Comment
