Hello I see this issue is recurring here. Now I am facing this annoying situation. Tried everything people usually tell me to do: 1-Turned off Antivirus; 2-Reset DNS and Network Interfaces; 3- Reinstalled Dropbox; 4- Changed network adapter settings.; 5- Updated Windows 10; 6- I am about to move to another file syncing service if I don't get this fixed. I need help from somebody at Dropbox, so I can use it again, many of my personal files are there, I've been a loyal customer for almost 8 years!Solved102Views1like17CommentsEmail says I'm out of space and files not syncing, but I have over 500MB left from 2GB.
Got an email saying I'm out of space and asking me to upgrade, now files are not accessible, but account shows space is available, is this a scam to get upgrade fees? Also can't seem to speak to anyone about this, very frustrating, how do I know if I upgrade that it will make any difference?39Views0likes12Comments"Couldn't complete sign in. Please try again." error on desktop app
I've had no problems in the past with my Dropbox App on my PC (basic account), and it was great because I got notifications when a client uploaded something. For some reason (and it was after I installed Carbonite) my app wasn't loading. Every time I tried to reload it, it asked me to sign in, and then it showed the error "Couldn't complete sign in. Please try again. " I have uninstalled Dropbox and reinstalled several times, and it gives me the same error. I'm able to use my phone app just fine, just not on the PC. I have paused Carbonite as well as Norton but that doesn't seem to help either. I don't have Bitdefender or anything else loaded. Can anyone help? I'm about to chuck the computer out the window and retire!Solved6.2KViews0likes32CommentsTrying to change email and getting an error that "This email is already taken."
I am trying to change the email address on my dropbox account. I used to have two dropbox accounts but deleted one about 10 days ago. I am now trying to change the email on my second account to the email I used for the other account. Even after 10 days, I am still getting the error "This email address is already taken". When I try to login with that email address, it brings me to the signup page, suggesting that the email is not associated with an account. What do I need to do to be able to use this email address with my dropbox account? Thank you!Solved49Views0likes9CommentsI'm being asked to enter a valid email address on my Android mobile app and I can't sign in.

I’m aiming to create a backup of all my files from Dropbox to an external hard drive. I used the copy-paste method to transfer all the files, but while some files were copied, not all of them were, and I keep getting an error message regarding "too long path name." Could you please assist me in resolving both issues: Ensuring a full backup copy on my external hard drive. Fixing the "too long path name" error. Thank you for your help!40Views0likes3CommentsCannot login to our Dropbox Team accounts, due to a CAPTCHA error.
Hi, We are currently setting up new Mac devices for our company. These Macs are completely stock with no pre-configured installations. We’re encountering an issue where Dropbox cannot log in. The error message states that a CAPTCHA has not been filled in. The issue is inconsistent—on some Macs, Dropbox logs in without problems, while on others, the CAPTCHA error appears. We’ve only tested in incognito mode on devices where users are already logged in to avoid interfering with active sessions. Troubleshooting Steps Tried: Tested on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox (all latest versions) Rebooted the devices Completely reinstalled macOS Disabled the firewall Connected to different networks to rule out router limitations Despite these efforts, the issue persists unpredictably across devices. Some work fine, while others do not. Could you provide any insight into what might be causing this behavior and possible solutions?76Views0likes11CommentsI got a DMCA in 2023, but I still can't share files, even though I've deleted the file in question.
Hey guys, hoping someone on staff can help me out. I got a DCMA complaint against a file I was sharing back in January of 2023. (Purely based on the file name and not because any of the contents were actually infringing, but I'm not here to debate that.) So I read the scary notice, and although I felt it wouldn't stand up to scrutiny I decided the fastest way to resolve it would be to comply and delete the file from my account and remove all links online that previously pointed to it. However, my sharing feature remains disabled over two years later. I finally decided to get a trial of the Plus plan to see if that would jumpstart anything, but the matter remains unresolved. So as my last resort I'm coming here. Is there anything else I need to do in order to get the sharing restriction lifted from my account? It is not and has not been my intent to share any copyrighted content on your platform. Thanks for your time.31Views0likes3Comments
