I have both an Adobe Creative Cloud and a Dropbox Plus subscription. I recently saw that I could be saving 50% on my Dropbox Plus sub. It has only recently renewed but as my work situation has changed I need to cut some costs while I seek new work. I want to keep my subscription but want to take advantage of this offer I'm entitled to. Could someone let me know if they've been able to do this? When I click Redeem Offer it says I already have a Dropbox Plus plan. I've been paying for Adobe for 30 years and Dropbox for 15 years. Many thanks! https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/discover/article/creative-cloud-perks?promoid=T32PLP96&mv=other&locale=en-AU5KViews6likes52CommentsDeleting files then permanently deleting doesn't free up space!?!
Hi, I've seen others with the same issue. I had promotional space added to my account. I used up quite a lot of this space. When my promotion ran out I was naturally over my quota. I then logged on online using the web interface and deleted live files. This had no effect, the amount of used space is not decreasing regardless of what I delete. I tried to permanently delete them but this also had no effect. I thought that perhaps it was because the data was kept on my sync'd devices, so I disassociated all devices, again this had no effect. I looked in depth at every support article online, nothing provides any insight or resolution beyond what I have tried and had no success with. Now either I buy more space or I can no longer upload to Dropbox. It has been weeks with no difference. I have contacted support but I get automated responses to look at their knowledge base, which I had naturally done before but tried again. No Luck. Please help. As Albert Einstein said, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.â Dropbox are sending me insane! I have one more option. Delete everything so that there is literally nothing in my Dropbox, but I would imagine given the above that it would make no difference and no one is helping!Solved14KViews3likes11CommentsBlack Friday deal for Family plan?
I'm on a monthly Family plan with 2TB of storage and was wondering if anyone knew of an upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. I'd like to switch to yearly billing, and I know many companies offer larger discounts on yearly plans during BF/CM, so I was thinking this would be a good time to do so if there was going to be a good sale. I see there's a generic discount baked into switching to yearly, but I'd prefer to snag a lower sale price if possible.Solved7.1KViews2likes3CommentsDropbox harassing me and scaremongering
Dear Dropbox, I am being constantly harassed by you, to encourage me to upgrade. For over 4 years, I get regular emails, saying "Youâre almost out of space!" you tell me, and sometimes it is "Your Dropbox needs more space!", or "COURTESY REQUEST: We're contacting you about your Dropbox capacity!" But recently, your emails have become borderline harassment and scaremongering. "Open ASAP: We're reaching out to notify you of your limited Dropbox capacity!" you said last week. Today it is "Eligibility confirmed: Chris, you'll lose access to your files if you don't act soon!". The email goes on to say: "Even adding just one more file might stop your account from syncing and being able to access them when you need to." Dropbox, your language and pushiness to upgrade is ridiculous. I'm using 10.45 GB of 12.13 GB storage on a free plan. My files are NOT about to stop syncing, and I will NOT suddenly lose access. This is because I stopped using my Dropbox as my primary cloud storage provider years ago, after your Plans became too expensive. Perhaps I would consider upgrading my account if the Plan fees and benefits was reasonable, but your marketing and sales emails are so aggressive!! Can somebody please explain the excessive and agressive emails? Chris1.5KViews2likes3CommentsI'm getting warnings showing I'm over my limit and then I realized my 5G from Quicken is missing
I started getting warnings that I was above my 2 GB free account. I should have 7 GB as I have Quicken and previously redeemed an offer for 5 GB Dropbox space. It's been fine for several years but now I see on the main page of the Drop Box website, it shows I only have 2 GB and there are warnings there too that I need to upgrade or it will stop synching. But if I go to the account page, I shows I have 7 GB which is correct. I need to make sure that the synching will not stop. I can't contact a support agent to verify this because it says I can also do that if I have a paid subscription. The bot is no help and the other option is to go the Community so here I am. Please help! Thank you.Solved1.6KViews2likes6Comments1 year 100gb promotion
Hello, I've got 100GB free with my new Acer computer. The offer says I've got 100GB storage for 1 year. What happens after 1 year if I don't upgrade and I stick with the free 2gb plan?? Will they delete all my storage if I use the 100GB? It's not clear at all and I'm worried to use this offer if I don't upgrade to a pay plan after the 1st year. Thanks!Solved9.7KViews2likes7CommentsI can't see my Seagate hard drive Dropbox Backup offer in my account nor an option to cancel it
I've recently purchased a Seagate Hard Drive and it came with a Backup plan offer from Dropbox. I have activated it and I'm backing it up as we speak, although when I go on my subscriptions page, it doesn't show me any information about this offer, it just says I have Dropbox Basic and that I'll be charged 8 Dollars a month. I can't even cancel the subscription after 6 months free offer ends. Any advice on how I can resolve this painlessly? I don't want to cancel the offer, although I don't appreciate not having the option to.21Views1like2CommentsBe able to gift a subscription or storage to another user.
Bringing this idea back from a few years ago to see if there is more interest now. In time for the holidays, it would be great to have a âgift cardâ option to purchase extra storage or a pro subscription for family and friends.101Views1like2Comments
