What happens to my files when I cancel my subscription?
Hi, what will happen to my Files if I cancel my subscription? I have dropbox plus and the number of GB I keep there is more than the limit of the non-paying versions. There are also many important files which are not on my PC anymore and I should download them. Once I've done it, will I have a certain time to download everything? We are have a compliance matter and our client urgently needs know if the data in our Dropbox account is stored in the USA, Germany, Vietnam, Australia, Japan? Hello, I've got 100GB free with my new Acer computer. The offer says I've got 100GB storage for 1 year. What happens after 1 year if I don't upgrade and I stick with the free 2gb plan?? Dropbox size on Desktop is smaller than Dropbox size online
With Dropbox Basic, I recieved an alert saying my dropbox is full -all 8.25 GB are used. But when I check my Dropbox file on my desktop it's size is 1.89 GB. My Dropbox account won’t upgrade to Plus
I updated my Dropbox to Plus, using the free 30 day option. However, it still says that my Dropbox is full. I try to install it again and it says “you’re currently subscribed to this” then I press “OK” and it says “unable to upgrade: an unknown error occurred.” If I press Restore Purchases it says “unable to restore purchases: the operation couldn’t be completed. Adding extra space to a professional account without upgrading to business
I am currently a professional account holder with 3TB of storage space, I am 500GB away from running out of space. As a creative I work with large file sizes and I was looking to upgrade to get a few more TB of storage. My only option is to upgrade to a Business Account, which would be fine, however you need to have a minimum of 3 licences which makes it very expensive for 2 extra TB which the Standard packages offers, I use the dropbox transfer tool almost every day so ideally I would be on the Advanced plan so I have have the same transfer limit of 100GB transfer limit which I get with Professional. Currently I pay around £15 per month for my package, currently if I want 2TB extra I would need to pay £30 per month and get less services than I do now or £45 per month to get what I really need. which is an increase of £30 per month which is excessive. Why doesn't Dropbox allow to increase storage space without needing to but licences which are not needed. As a long term customer of over 10 years who uses the service every day I am getting to a point where will need to make a decision to leave Dropbox and go to an alternative provider of which there are many to to choose from. For example: - IDrive offer 10TB for $3.98 a month pCloud offer 10TB for $3.95 a month I need to do more research on this but Apple, Google and probably Amazon will offer similar services, the only thing stopping me at the moment is the hassle of transfering all my data across. Just got a email with the Title "⚠️Action requested: ****, your files are about to stop syncing!" Only for it to be a sales email telling me to upgrade my accout The accout has be used to archive some stuff and has not been added to in ages and has over 400MB of the 2GB free. "NOTICE: ****, your files will stop syncing soon." "Your Dropbox storage is reaching maximum capacity. Adding one more file could fill up your account—and keep you from syncing and accessing your files when you need them." Yes and adding 100 small files may not fill up or I may delete stuff to free space and it may never fill up This is nothing but false underhanded scare tactics spam to get people to upgrage.
