Unable to delete account - nothing happens on a browser and getting an error on the app
So I have a free account and no longer need it. I have tried the steps on website to delete the account but when I get to the end after putting in my password nothing happens. I have tried deleting through the app and get an error message stating the account can’t be deleted due to an unknown error. I’ve tried different browsers and wiping the cache, still no fix. Any ideas?

I am unable to delete my Dropbox account. created the account with my Apple ID and private relay for email. when trying to delete from the app, I got an error saying “something went wrong, an unknown error occurred” trying to delete from chrome and safari, it first made me create a password and then once created and attempting the deletion of the account, it downloads a 0 byte file called “post_delete”…. does anyone have guidance?

How can I use my previous email for a new account?
Hello, I started with a new company a few weeks ago and I was given a work email to sign up for Dropbox. But me being stupid, I signed up for the wrong type of dropbox account. So I went ahead and disabled it on my own. Now I want to create a personal dropbox account with that same work email that I accidentally used to make a business account with that is now disabled. But it won't let me sign up for a new account as it keeps directing me to log in to the disabled account. How can I make a new account then with my work email? I really could use some help in this manner. Thanks.

Hello everyone, sadly I had to come her for help with a simple task. I had a free account for a while using a gmail username, but I upgraded last year to Dropbox+ using a different email username. However the free account seems to take over when I sign in and I need to delete it, but reading Dropbox instructions I will lose all my files and folders. My question is will I lose everything by deleting the original free 2GB account? Thanks in anticpatioin!
