Dropbox Passwords doesn't autofill in my Android apps or my Firefox browser login screens
Dropbox Password app v278.13 Firefox version 135.0.1 (Build #2016074239), hg-7c2ff1aa3394+ GV: 135.0.1-20250216192613 AS: 135.0.1 Do I always have to open Dropbox Password app on my device first? My dropbox passwords do not suggest or autofill in APPs and Firefox browser tabs on my Android (v14) samsung tablet (UI6.1, SM-X210).Dropbox Passwords doesn't sync logins between devices?
I use Dropbox Passwords on 4 devices. My iPhone and my 'old' Macbook Pro, where everything syncs and works, and my iPad and my new Macbook Pro, where nothing is synced. Both just show me the 'Start adding accounts' screen. I've been through a looong list of measures with chat support, but nothing has solved this so far. Has anybody else experienced something similar? And maybe even found a potential solution?
I'm trying to access Passwords from one of my 3 authorized devices, but get an error.
I have a Basic plan with 3 devices authorized. I am working from one of the 3 devices, and while logged in to Dropbox, it will not allow me to access Dropbox Passwords, saying I am already logged in to 3 devices. This is clearly an error, and I should not have to log out from one of my other devices to access. Can someone help?
Can't access Dropbox Passwords on my new PC
My PC has gone, it has no connection on the internet. I bought a new PC and installed dropbox. I thought passwords would come with dropbox, but I get a message that needs to check my identity and to check for "edge notification" which I do not get. How do I proceed? THanks
The Dropbox Passwords extension updates passwords when there is no need
I have a particular login account that has multiple security levels. i.e. It has a UserId and Password for logging in and an additional Password for specical functionality. When I log in, Dropbox passwords populates my UserId and Password correctly. If I invoke the special functionality, and enter the additional password when prompted, Dropbox Passwords updates the login password to the additional password and I need to cancel the update if I'm quick enough and see the dialog box. This is annoying, is there a way to stop the automatic update. I have also noticed that Dropbox Passwords will create a duplicate entry for some of my accounts for some unknown reason and I finish up having multiple Account records for the same site? Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks in advance.
