Can deleted photos be retrieved from Deleted Files?
3 days ago I deleted some individual in-named, un-filed single iPhone uploaded pictures. A few minutes ago I tried retrieving some from the deleted files section and after adjusting the filters, nothing came up. (1)Is there a grace period for retrieving? (2)Are deleted files the only items retrievable and not individual un-filed pictures? I’m a bit confused as to (3)what the difference between files and phone uploads and camera uploads are other than the obvious, deleting un-filed un-named singles individually to files having a name, files holding multiple pictures and ability to delete a whole file with pics all at once. (5)But with it being called “ Deleted Files”, are they all considered the same when deleting and retrieving them? It seems that Dropbox puts all my uploaded unfiled and un-named singles under camera uploads or phone uploads, (6)which I suppose, they could be considered pre-named Dropbox files (7)Not sure if I can delete pictures as a whole from these (files?) (8)because when opened, the two prenamed dropbox file formats look different than that of a file I named. (9)Dropbox’s Camera uploads and Phone uploads (files?) would make more sense to me if i uploaded photos with a secondary device like a Nikon camera or…..a Cannon. But all my Dropbox photo uploads are sourced from my iPhone camera. So that too is a bit confusing because I don’t choose where my singles go. They just go. Sometimes they go to both prenamed Dropbox (files?) I’ve had Dropbox for 10 years. (10)Looking for answers.

How do you access Dropbox: the website, the desktop app (for mac/windows), and/or the mobile app (iOS, android)? For those you use, why do you use them? For those you don't, why not? Is there anything you wish you could do on one that you can't today? Why?
A Dropbox transfer will expire; will I lose the files?
Hi, I'm new to Dropbox and use it mostly to save photos, recipes, articles, etc. A few days ago I copied a few photos from Dropbox to my "Photos" app on my iphone. I just received a notice of expiration for these transfers. If I go in and delete the transfers, will the photos still be saved in Dropbox? I don't want to lose the photos. The notice says I have to upgrade to change - what does that mean? Thank you!
Don't remove Dropbox Showcase !
Hello, I just heard that Dropbox Showcase was going to disappear. I am both sad and very upset to hear this news. A few years ago I decided to take out a Business subscription for this tool. This unique tool, almost perfect, that makes all the difference! Indeed, I use Showcase on a daily basis to respond to calls for tenders from my clients. Dropbox Showcase allows me to create a response where the customer can find videos references, images, quotes, .etc ... all this in an interactive and professional presentation. This tool is perfect in my opinion! The interface, the ease of use with being able to import your Dropbox files, .etc ... it saves me incredible time! It allowed me to show off my projetcs and win many calls for tenders! I have always had very positive feedback from my clients thanks to Showcase. You say today that you replace this tool with Dropbox Transfer, I am deeply sad because it really has nothing to do with it! I feel abandoned. I found InvisionApp which comes close but which is useless for me because I am a videographer and it is impossible to host videos in it. To my knowledge you were the only ones in this area, and no tool today will be able to replace what you had built! 😞 I don't understand your decision and I share with you my deep disappointment. 😞 Please, don't remove Dropbox Showcase ! 🙏 Bye, Olivier.
