Hello, team! When I enter my phone number trying to set up two-step authentication, I get this message the first time and all subsequent times I enter my phone number: "You've tried to add two-step authentication with SMS too many times. Please try again after 24 hours." And after 24 hours the same story repeats. Is it a bug in the Dropbox system? Or what is the issue here? Would be thankful for any help.50Views1like3Comments"The CAPTCHA response was not verified successfully, please try again".
Trying to set up a new dropbox account under a company email address and am getting this error - happening on multiple devices and different browsers Can log in under my personal account with no issues Error produces on both audio and visual CAPTCHA's10Views0likes1CommentI can't log in to Dropbox Passwords - "Oops! An error has occurred, please try again later".
I'm having the same problem that I had 2 years ago when trying to set up Dropbox Passwords on my Pixel 7 (ticket #23077274). I had to delete the app from my phone and am now trying to re-install it on the same phone. I am getting the same error message that I did before: Oops! An error has occurred, please try again later. I tried everything that was recommended before, including: uninstalled both Dropbox and Dropbox Passwords apps, then reinstalled cleared cache for Dropbox Passwords (then uninstalled Dropbox Passwords app and reinstalled) disconnected from Dropbox Passwords For Android under the security tab (then uninstalled Dropbox Passwords app and reinstalled) verified that only 2 devices (including this Pixel 7, as far as I can tell) are tied to my account Would love help getting this set back up again.25Views0likes1CommentI deleted a shared user, and tried to add them again, but got an error
I intended to share an external clients' folder with them. Somehow they were granted access to our full Dropbox as a team member. I removed/deleted them as a team member and I'm trying to share only their file and now I get an error saying, "One or more of these emails is no longer active." How can I resolve to share their folder with the same email?13Views0likes1CommentMalware warning on teammate's MacOS when overwriting files
I render videos out to Dropbox and then other people on my team use them. If I need to overwrite a file because of an error or something my teammate gets an alert on their Mac when trying to open that video file that says it is possible malware and has to manually go in and approve each file and tell the Mac to open the file anyway. Is there a setting this teammate has on their computer causing this to get it to ignore all files on Dropbox or something? It can end up being a lot of files sometimes that are overwritten and they have to go in on each one and manually override the warning. Dear Dropbox Support Team, I previously used Dropbox and had linked my account to my Apple ID. However, I deleted that account years ago. Since then, I’ve been unable to create a new account on iOS using “Sign in with Apple” or link my Apple ID to an account with the same email address. Every attempt results in an error message with ERROR 500, even when I try different email addresses or use Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature. It seems my Apple ID is now completely unable to use Dropbox, which is causing significant disruptions to my workflow. I would appreciate any guidance on resolving this issue. Thank you for your support! Best regards, HuaDeity170Views0likes11CommentsI keep seeing a "username and password do not match" error and I can't delete my Dropbox account.
I want to delete my account but keep getting the message "Username and password do not match". I have reset password and the username in my settings and still get the message. How can I delete this account?Solved41Views0likes2CommentsCannot login to our Dropbox Team accounts, due to a CAPTCHA error.
Hi, We are currently setting up new Mac devices for our company. These Macs are completely stock with no pre-configured installations. We’re encountering an issue where Dropbox cannot log in. The error message states that a CAPTCHA has not been filled in. The issue is inconsistent—on some Macs, Dropbox logs in without problems, while on others, the CAPTCHA error appears. We’ve only tested in incognito mode on devices where users are already logged in to avoid interfering with active sessions. Troubleshooting Steps Tried: Tested on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox (all latest versions) Rebooted the devices Completely reinstalled macOS Disabled the firewall Connected to different networks to rule out router limitations Despite these efforts, the issue persists unpredictably across devices. Some work fine, while others do not. Could you provide any insight into what might be causing this behavior and possible solutions?325Views0likes14CommentsI'm being asked to enter a valid email address on my Android mobile app and I can't sign in.
