Screenshots und/and markup feature verbessern/improve?
Frustration mit dem "verbesserten" Screenshot-Feature in Dropbox Hallo zusammen, seit einigen Monaten kämpfe ich mit dem "verbesserten" Screenshot-Feature von Dropbox und dem damit verbundenen Markup-Editing. Leider empfinde ich es als ausgesprochen unbrauchbar. Ich frage mich, warum bei der Entwicklung so viel Wert auf die "Zeichnen"-Funktion gelegt wurde, während essenzielle Funktionen, die den Workflow erheblich erleichtern würden, komplett fehlen. Ich würde mir dringend folgende Verbesserungen wünschen: Beibehaltung des Bildes in der Zwischenablage: Bitte ermöglicht uns, das aufgenommene Bild weiterhin in der Zwischenablage zu belassen. Alternativ wäre es extrem hilfreich, wenn ich direkt die Möglichkeit hätte, das Bild in die Zwischenablage zu kopieren, sobald ich auf das Thumbnail klicke. Auch das automatische Öffnen mit einem Link oder dem Markup-Programm ist nicht hilfreich; ich möchte die Option haben, das Bild direkt mit einem Editor meiner Wahl zu öffnen. Zoom-Funktion im Markup-Editor: Es ist unerlässlich, das Bild im Markup-Feature zoomen zu können, um präzise Bearbeitungen vorzunehmen. Besonders für Nutzer mit Sehschwäche oder wenn man wie ich drei Monitore verwendet und den gesamten Desktop aufnimmt, ist es aktuell unmöglich, Details zu erkennen. Eine Zoom-Funktion wäre hier essenziell, um das Bild zu vergrößern und so auch kleine Bereiche zu erkennen. Kopieren von Bildausschnitten: Eine Funktion zum Kopieren von Teilen des Bildes – nicht nur zum Zuschneiden ("crop") – wäre extrem hilfreich. Das aktuelle System, bei dem das zugeschnittene Ergebnis nicht in der Zwischenablage landet, macht die Funktion leider unbrauchbar ("copy"). Wahl des Standardprogramms zum Öffnen von Bildern: Bitte gebt uns die Möglichkeit, selbst zu entscheiden, mit welchem Programm das Bild nach der Aufnahme geöffnet werden soll. Erweiterung der Screenshot-Funktion: Wenn wir uns schon mit diesen Einschränkungen herumschlagen müssen, warum nicht gleich ein vollwertiges Snipping Tool integrieren oder die bestehende Screenshot-Funktion entsprechend erweitern? Es ist frustrierend, dass ich derzeit in Erwägung ziehe, Screenshots nicht mehr in Dropbox zu speichern oder Dropbox sogar vom PC zu deinstallieren, weil die fehlende Flexibilität meinen Workflow so stark beeinträchtigt. Das kann doch nicht im Sinne des Erfinders sein. Ich erhoffe mir hier wirklich mehr Flexibilität und benutzerfreundliche Lösungen von Dropbox. Unfortunately, I find it to be quite unusable. I'm wondering why so much emphasis was placed on the "drawing" function during development, while essential features that would significantly simplify the workflow are completely missing. I would urgently request the following improvements: Keeping the image in the clipboard: Please allow us to keep the captured image in the clipboard. Alternatively, it would be extremely helpful if I could directly copy the image to the clipboard by simply clicking on the thumbnail. Also, automatically opening a link or the Markup program isn't helpful; I want the option to open the image directly with an editor of my choice. Zoom function in the Markup Editor: It's essential to be able to zoom in on the image within the Markup feature to make precise edits. Especially for users with impaired vision, or when capturing the entire desktop with multiple monitors like I do, it's currently impossible to discern any details. A zoom function would be crucial here to magnify the image and make even small areas visible. Copying image selections: A function to copy parts of the image – not just to "crop" it – would be extremely helpful. The current system, where the cropped result doesn't land in the clipboard, unfortunately renders this feature unusable. Choice of default program for opening images: Please give us the option to decide for ourselves which program the image should be opened with after capture. Enhancement of the screenshot function: If we have to contend with these limitations anyway, why not integrate a full-fledged Snipping Tool or extend the existing screenshot function accordingly? It's frustrating that I'm currently considering no longer saving screenshots to Dropbox or even uninstalling Dropbox from my PC, simply because the lack of flexibility severely impacts my workflow.
