Hi - I'm hoping someone can help me. We've been using dropbox for a while and it's been going swimmingly, but in the recent few months there has been a change. When I open an excel document it used to open in 'Excel for the web' and was easily editable, but recently it's stopped loading properly. I'm trying to open it using Safari browser (my friend who is using Microsoft software isn't having the same issue), and now instead of the file loading it looks like this, but never loads: Can anyone help? I've restarted my computer and installed any updates. Many thanks.332Views0likes22CommentsI can't see the full name of my files, even though there's enough space.
Why is the Name column width so small? Even not very long names become unreadable. There's so much space to use from the other columns, which don't really need that much anyway. I have to click each file individually to figure out the full name...31Views0likes3Comments".docx files are supported but something went wrong." error on various browsers

This should be a simple solution but hard to find an aswer, here is my scenario: I send a test file "mskeys.txt", I put in my email address which is my companys email. I do not send this file to anyone, I do not share this file to any one. Here is my question, why is it that it reads 16 views, and 2 dowloads? I also tested this scenario with someone else and they had the same results, on a diffrent account, diffrent PC, diffrent email..whos viewing my file and who is dowloading my files?964Views0likes6CommentsWe don't see creation/modification dates for our folders.
Explanation: Why dont we see dates on Folders, this is kinda destroys propper workflow. When i compare files, i need to make sure im using last ones. We can compare this properly offlone. The folder dont show any meta data for modified or created. This issue is visible when online as well in mobile app. Perhaps it's another limitation off free plan? I am not understanding how I can find out details on when a file was created. For example I have uploaded 714 PDF files today to a Folder PDF_11_10. When I look at the folder ALL the files show a modified date of today. Is there a way to get the actual creation date of each file and NOT just upload date. I have followed the instructions for 'file info' on Metadata but no luck. I would appreciate any solutions. Running on WIN11 with Dropbox PRO. Something changed over the last couple of months. I have hundreds of JPEG photos of sheet music I made and stored in Dropbox, with each jpeg saved in the Dropbox app on my iPad to be viewable off-line so that I can access them while I perform. After many years of using it this way, very abruptly something changed and my stored offline jpegs and folders are no longer viewable on my iPad if I don’t have Internet access. They all still have the blue icon illuminated indicating they are stored to my app for offline viewing but if the internet goes, everything vanishes if I’m in a remote area without internet or cell service I can no longer access any of the images that are stored in the app for offline use ; this is a brand new issue after using Dropbox to do this for over a decade. is there something I can fix in settings? Or was something changed permanently about the iPad app?56Views0likes5CommentsComments not showing on files that were stored in my Dropbox Vault
Hi, I'm missing all comments from my Dropbox files, and I need urgent help. Here's what I’ve noticed: All files in my Vault show last updated on March 5, 2025, which I haven’t touched. I’ve already: Reinstalled the app on my iPhone Logged in via desktop Cleared browser history/cache Restarted Iphone This happened once before and resolved on its own, but I don’t have time to wait. Concerned why this is occurring, could this be due to a Dropbox update or possible account breach. Has anyone else seen this? I need a resolution ASAP.58Views0likes5Comments
