2036 TopicsPage isn't loading when opening a file in "Excel for the web" on Safari
Hi - I'm hoping someone can help me. We've been using dropbox for a while and it's been going swimmingly, but in the recent few months there has been a change. When I open an excel document it used to open in 'Excel for the web' and was easily editable, but recently it's stopped loading properly. I'm trying to open it using Safari browser (my friend who is using Microsoft software isn't having the same issue), and now instead of the file loading it looks like this, but never loads: Can anyone help? I've restarted my computer and installed any updates. Many thanks.32Views0likes5CommentsGive us an option to permanently disable or turn off "Suggested for you"...
This is an ongoing complaint from your user base that has been documented for years now. I see a mobile app fix was implemented. Unfortunately for me I mainly use the web version, so I can only click the little eyeball icon to hide the section each time I refresh the page or move between folders, etc. I don't need my client's case photos, which are often graphic and disturbing, splashed across the top of my screen when I am trying to pull up a case file to check if a court date notice came in. We don't need the equivalent of a Ralph Wiggum AI messing with our work flow and potentially exposing sensitive information and images when we navigate our folders. We know where we've put things and if we forget, there is a search function that works great. Please give the end user on all platforms the option to permanently disable this "function".22Views0likes1CommentThe first line when viewing comments gets blocked by tools.
When someone leaves comments and I select it to read the whole thing, a box with the emoji, resolve and other options appears, blocking the last few words in the first line of the comment. Is there a way to turn off that function? It's super annoying to have to deselect the comment to read the first line, then select again to see the rest.35Views0likes3CommentsFilter Option: Add Filter Type For Content with Comment
When I'm collaborating with my clients, I usually have them comment on photos/videos, this way I can see what my clients think about the product. I would love to see Dropbox include an integration where we can filter the folder to show which content in a folder has a comment in it. Unless there is another way of doing this, please drop a comment; otherwise, I would love to see this feature.1.4KViews1like8CommentsEdit Markdown files (.MD) in a web browser
Hi, Right now you can edit Markdown (.md) files from Android devices, but you can't edit them online (via a browser). Please add this feature. I'd be happy if you treated just like a .txt file with no extra formatting. I think this would be a simple task for the dev team.16Views0likes1CommentEnable emoji and special characters in file names
Hi guys, not sure if anyone else needs files with odd characters / emoji in the filename synced. Surely this could be a thing now... OneDrive allows it, Google allows it. I'm not in control of a lot of the files so "simply rename your files" isn't an option. What are the chances of this actually happening some time soon? I think i would benefit many Best2.2KViews9likes7CommentsAbility to adjust location of action buttons when commenting
When a user clicks on a comment, the action button overlay appears, which hides the comment below it. Users gets annoyed with this. I suggest adjusting the action buttons in the Header section of the comment. I'm trying to show all files with the .kbdx file extension. First I tried the search built into the Dropbox system tray presence, but it returned no results. Then I logged in through the website and searched again, and still no results. Panic really start to set in, because that's my keepass password manager file extension. If I manually go to a directory where I know one is, it's there. Why isn't search working, and how do I turn it back on?19Views0likes1Comment
