Hi I'm on macOS 14.3 and dropbox keeps giving me the notification "Dropbox for macOS on File Provider is now ready Update Dropbox to use it on the latest version of macOS on File Provider." But when I run the update, nothing changes. I'm running v191.4.4995. I've tried downloading and installing, too.

Hi @Chipito, thanks for posting today!

Could you try quitting all other open apps on your computer, and then try clicking that option again in the app.

Keep me posted!

That worked! Thank you. I was confused because it didn't tell me to do that as part of the upgrade process...in fact it tells you it will do everything in the background and you can keep working. Maybe the install language should change.

No problem, generally everything can run normally, but in rare instances, some apps might affect the migration, so quitting them would help it through.

Glad to hear it was successful. Enjoy the rest of your week!
