Hi there, I'm having no luck installing dropbx on my Mac. The application works fine on my Windows computer, however whenever I download the application onto my Mac the icon flashes grey and will not open. I have updated my computer to the latest system (Catalina), downloaded the latest dropbox application from the website, unistalled and reinstalled countless times, and nothing has worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I use Dropbox for work and having to download each file as I need it is tremendously tedious.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with installing our desktop app on your Mac computer; let's find the culprit now
If you have a firewall, an antivirus or even a VPN/proxy setting that could be causing this, could you disable it (temporarily to test things out, try re-installing using the offline installer and let me know if you still get the same results?

Thanks so much for your help! I have allowed incoming connections through my computer's firewall for dropbox and subsequently uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled the application, no luck. I don't have any antivirus software or connect through a VPN or any form of proxy server.

You haven't mentioned if the offline installer worked though; could you give it a go after a hard reboot of your computer and let me know how it goes?

Sorry, I did try the offline installer (with a hard reboot) and still have the same issue of the flashing icon.
