Apps and Installations

I am a new, and very confused Dropbox user. My assistant had a free account which I upgraded to a new paid account. I also used to have a separate paid account before.
Now dropbox has created multiple folders that appear to be duplicates and constantly changes names of the format:
C:-Users-user-TNE Dropbox-username-00 TNE Current Data-filename (using - to replace prohibited backslash
C:-Users-username-TNE Dropbox-username (tne.timmins)-00 TNE Current Data-filename
There are 2 issues here:
Filenames under user 1 and user 2 that are supposed to be the same file
The Directory Structure is weird and different for the same file
Before the upgrade it was just 00TNE Current Data; now all the prefixes have appeared.
What have I done wrong, and how can I get back to just having "00 TNE Current Data
Regards

Hi @Sabatini, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
In order to understand why this occurred, we'll need more information to assist.
Did you upgrade to a paid account and then the Dropbox desktop application created the new location for the Dropbox folder? What kind of paid account did you upgrade to?
Are you currently using a Windows or Mac device? What version of the OS are you running?
This will help me to assist further!
