Hi @abucheeri, welcome to our Community! 

Can you clarify the app's precise syncing status at the moment? 

Clicking the Dropbox icon on your system tray should give you the option to see any syncing issues. Clicking there should give you exact file/folder names pointing to the problem. 

If you click on the name of the file, does it re-direct you to it?

Hi @abucheeri, could you send me a couple of screenshots from your syncing status, along with your Dropbox version? 

You mentioned that you have a bunch of files with the same name: does this happen with all of them, or a specific one?
