Search by tags in mobile app

I checked if this topic exists and didn't find any specific answer to my issue.

I'd like to start using tags but to my surprise, I can't search by them in Dropbox mobile app.

On the web, it works but not on mobile so looks like there's no point for me to waste time tagging my images to then not be able to take advantage of the tags when I travel and have my mobile phone only with me.

Hi @KatarzynaOs, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Currently, it isn't possible to search for tags via the mobile app.

We appreciate all feedback on how to improve the Dropbox app and service!

This is a MUST HAVE for me, and I'm sure 95% of Dropbox users given how mobiles and mobile apps have "taken over the world"!
For me, and I'm sure a great many others, I'm in process of comparing other apps including Onedrive as my chosen alternative.

Please get a move on, Dropbox!

I was told to Share an Idea for this feature because it doesn't exist, and we would like it to be added to an upcoming update. Currently, the only option available is to rename the document, but that doesn't allow for multiple tags. We even tried adding comments (which you can do in the mobile app), but then we couldn't search by them in the desktop. Please consider making tags available in the mobile app soon! Thanks!
