It would be useful - in my case - and considering that I have dropbox on several devices, a certain file can only be shared by the devices identified by me. So lets I choose where and what. It will be possible ?

Hi @Hugo, how are you today?

Can you share a few more details on this? How do you have that in mind?

Do you mean that a file would sync only to your personal devices?

Keep me posted with more details.

Yes for example . I have 3 types of devices : my cellphone , my notebook at home and my professional notebook at work . It was interesting if I could choose where I want that a specific file can be sync. For example a personal file I could choose to sync only on my cellphone and at my notebook at home , and exclude to use the same file in my professional notebook . That was my idea .

Hi @Hugo, in general, any files stored in Dropbox would sync to all devices.

Could you clarify why this would be useful in your specific workflow?

Are you able to use selective sync instead to prevent folders from syncing to your computer?
