"Hide recent items". According to latest update (10/25/17) for iOS, there is supposed to be a setting for this. I cannot find it. Can anyone help?
Yes, close the application and make sure to update. Once the app is updated, open it and it will do some housekeeping and open up. Then it will show the recents tab at the bottom left and you can see it.

According to Dropbox Support, the option to Hide Recents does exist within the app but has been disabled for some users while they investigate a crash. It should be re-enabled soon.
Here's a screenshot of my DB app after all updates. I see nothing at the bottom that will allow me to prevent recent files from showing. The app "gear" settings icon also offers no choices. Thanks for answering.
Maybe. They told me that after the last update that also promised a "Recent files" change. Thanks for answering.
Click on the Cog button on top left, scrll down to the App Version what is it?
