I'm using Selective Sync to organize my Dropbox folder, but by doing this Dropbox starts adding random files from the folders I'm using Selective Sync on. How to undo this? Are these copies of those files? Or the actual files? Anyone getting this issue? Thanks in advance.
Hi @FredericoFerreira, welcome to our Community!
It is definitely unexpected when you use selective sync, to have content added to your Dropbox folder. Are you certain that these files are coming from the folders you're trying to remove locally from the device?
Also, which version of our app do you use on your end? You can find this by locating your Dropbox icon on the menu or task bar, next to your WiFi and hovering your mouse over it.
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Yes, I am certain that these files are coming from the folders you're trying to remove locally from the device. It is adding more as we speak 😕
The Dropbox version I am using is 170.4.5895
Hi @FredericoFerreira, could you let me know the app's precise syncing status?
If you could also send me a screenshot of what you see on your end, when you access your Dropbox folder locally, that'd be amazing.

The new added files seemed to be corrupted or a copy of the original ones, so I just went ahead and deleted them! Thanks anyway 🙂
Any time @FredericoFerreira!
