Can't leave a message when sharing folders

When I share a folder from the dropbox ap on my computer, after I enter the email addresses I want to share with I have the opportunity to leave a message to accompany the notification they get that a folder is shared.  When I try to do the same online at dropbox.com, after I enter the email addresses the message box flashes on and off before I can enter anything.  I am using Safari 15.0 on OS 11.6.  Am I missing something?

Could you please let me know if you get any different results after clearing your browser's cache and/or when using another browser?
