Dropbox v191.4.4995 stuck on "Indexing..." on M3 Macbook Pro Sonoma 14.3

Dropbox v191.4.4995 stuck on "Indexing..." on M3 Macbook Pro Sonoma 14.3

Dropbox Pro is stuck on "Indexing..." after installing on a fresh-from-the-store Apple Macbook Pro M3 running the latest Sonoma 14.3, even though there are no local files in my Dropbox folder to index. I can see and download all my files on the web client.

I've reinstalled Dropbox multiple times (rebooting inbetween), including advanced reinstall (twice) and gave Dropbox full file system access – same symptoms every time.

I can see my folders w/sizes on the "Selective Sync" dialog, so I know there are no connectivity issues. No firewalls, no anti-virus. 200MB/s fiber. No errors under "Sync issues".

Long-time paying customer. Will sadly need to cancel if there is no known resolution 😕

Can anyone help, please? Thanks!

Hey @theronic - thanks for joining the Community and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Could you please try fixing your hardlinks and permissions and let me know if syncing gets stuck again?

Thanks!
