I'm using the dropbox via internet browsers (explorer and chrome) and the drag and drop feature has not worked for the past few days.

Has this feature been removed? How to fix?

Hey @Alen !

Thanks for reporting the issue with uploading files using drag and drop.

Actually, we did until recently have an option to drag and drop uploads using Firefox, however, this option is no longer available on Firefox.

Here’s a few things you can try since you’re experiencing issues with Chrome and Safari:

  • Restore your browser to its default settings and disable any browser plugins. The issue you're experiencing may be the result of a plugin that you have installed on your browser or a security setting on your browser.
  • If the issue is caused by a plugin, you can try incognito or private browsing mode to eliminate the problem:

Also, you can always still upload files using either the enhanced or basic uploader on the Dropbox website.

Hope this helps, and feel free to write back and let us know how it works for you. You can also reach out to our Support Team at www.dropbox.com/support or http://bit.ly/2m56L7z for further assistance.

Thanks and have a great day,
Karina
