Re: files disappearing immediately

files disappearing immediately from Mac, but still visible on site and Windows

Files and folders are disappearing from my dropbox folder on my Mac immediately after I create them (on my Mac). They still exist on the web and are even showing up in my dropbox folder on my PC. Doesn't happen all the time but enough to be annoying. Any ideas?

Files and folders with an underscore at the beginning of them are considered to be hidden files on Mac OS.

You'll need to enable the viewing of hidden files to see them in your Dropbox folder there.

Hi @benraph, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you attach a screenshot showing the folder in Finder, and another on the website and Windows machine showing the same folder without the files in question?

This will help me to assist further!
