'that didn't work for some reason' error

'that didn't work for some reason' error

This shared dropbox folder has been working for 5 months, but today when I clicked the same link I've been using to open it I got this error "that didn't work for some reason" with a sad dog. Any ideas on how to fix it or retrieve the files?

Hi @bmoney, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Just to clarify, is this a shared folder that is visible on your account, or a shared link to a folder?

This will help me to assist further!

This one is a shared link to a folder

Hey @bmoney, sorry to jump in here.

Did you create this link or did someone else sent it to you?

If someone else sent it, have you checked with them, to see if the folder is still in their account or if they have an issue with their shared links?

Someone else created and sent it, but they do still have the shared folder in their account

Hey @bmoney, could you please clear your browser's cache or try another browser, preferably with no extensions or plugins running and let us know if you still get the same error when accessing the shared links in question?

Keep in mind that if the file in the link was removed or the link deleted, it would no longer be valid and you would need to contact the person that sent you the link.
