Some folders that I deleted do not show up in the deleted files page - how can I restore them?
Some of the folders I deleted tonight are not shown in the deleted files list, and I want to restore a few. They are not showing in events either. Only some of the deleted files and folders are shown in the deleted files list and events. Please help, this is very annoying. Thank you

Hey tyrannicaltimes, sorry to see that you're having this issue.
Since the thread you posted in was pretty old, I created a new thread with your post and let's get right to it!
Were the folders in question personal/non-shared folders or were they shared?
If so, do you see them here perhaps?
Let me know what you find.

No, they are not listed in recents.
Yes, they are shared folders and files. - Hannah3 months ago

And you can't see them in the "folders" tab in "Shared" either?
Were they simply deleted or permanently deleted?

No, they are not in either of those places.
I definitely just deleted them, not permanently.
The folder deletions are not listed in events either. - Rich3 months ago

Did you create these folders and share them with others, or were you invited to the shared folders by someone else?

Thanks. All of the missing files I deleted were shared with me. However, some of the shared files I deleted are visible in the deleted folder and are restorable (unfortunately not the ones I wish to restore). So, not consistent. It's all very strange.

I should add, this is a team dropbox account with two admins, and three other users, one of whom is me.

So its possible that the folders you left were not eligible to rejoin - deleting the files does remove you from the share.
Ask to be re-added to it OR try and rejoin at www.dropbox.com/share

Thanks. I think you could be right, although it doesn't explain why I can still restore some of the deleted folders (because they are visible in the deleted files list) but not the others. I'll contact one of the admins and hopefully they can restore the ones I need. I'll provide an update once I know more.

Okay, I am now a full admin, but the folders of interest are still not visible in the deleted files list.
