Dropbox is almost full

Dropbox is almost full

I filled up my 3.25GB space, then went and deleted LOTS of files and folders. It now say's I'm almost full. I had a dozen or so folders with lots in there, now down to four, with three empty and one holding some pictures. It ain't full!!

How do I find out how much space is actually being used?

Can I find out where all the space is being used? Which folder(s) are filling up my DB?

How do I determine that all the files and folders I deleted are actually deleted? I went through the Delete, then go to the Delete folder and "permanently delete" all those files and folders. Obviously I've missed something...

Thanks,

Mike

Your account usage can be seen on your Plan page.

No, but it will show you a breakdown of your space by regular files, shared files and available space.

If you deleted the files, they're deleted and no longer count towards your accounts usage. Permanently deleting them is not necessary (nor recommended).

Perfect answer. I have 3.25GB storage availability and one wedding video was 3.1GB, then there were the other 100 photos. Yep, that was the problem. I deleted the video and the Plan Page immediately showed I now have lots of room left. I'll put all the photos up there and when my daughter (the bride) downloads / sees what she wants, I can delete all of the photos and upload the video.

Thanks for the education!!
