Signing out of Dropbox Desktop App but files remains

Hello! Ok so I just successfully signed out of Dropbox on the Desktop app but the thing is...even if I'm signed out of it, the files remained on my Laptop. If I delete those, will the files that were synced to Dropbox be still there on the cloud?

Yes, thats supposed to happen. 

 

So as long as you have unlinked then you can delete away without any repercussion to the website apps 🙂
