Cut the Clutter: Test Ignore Files Feature - sign up to become a beta tester here.
This is like vacuuming your house or office. Do you guys go without it for years on end? It's hard to believe this critical and essential feature does not exist. I currently have multiple folders that can be merged easily on windows, but not on Dropbox. One thing the Dropbox developers have to understand is that business accounts have larger amount of files on Dropbox than on their systems, and because of the painful speed of upload and download and the limitation of files that can be transferred at once (3000 files), it is not possible to do this on the desktop side. So there has to be a house cleaning tool that allows for maintenance and merging of duplicate folders and files. You can even find this on your phone these days. It is hard to imagine Dropbox for business customers do not have this option.

Hey JoseeJC! I just wanted to let you know that we have a new “Find duplicates” feature.
Can you please give it a go and clarify if it helps?

I couldn't agree more about Dropbox not offering a "simple way to remove duplicates", especially photos. The system seems archaic, out of date, not user friendly and given the rising cost of Dropbox, you'd think they would have their act together and provide basic features. I have thousands of photos and sadly many are duplicates because of a mix of apple products versus windows and my lack of knowledge saving the images sometimes . It's incredibly frustrating to not be able to update the Dropbox folders that I pay for and it makes me consider better storage options for the future. It's an impossible task to sort my photos without starting with deleting duplicates. That with the limitation of 1000 photos a day is just ridiculous. Its time for Dropbox to show up

I am very disappointed as well; duplicate file folders abd PDFs should be an easy fix, and make housekeeping much cleaner.
Not sure why you are not working on it; you have ample time to make all of your customers happer. Remeber, service is your business.
