Requesting a feature update that would allow org-mode /Orgzly files with the extension ".org" to be viewed as text files in Dropbox.
Orgzly for Android allows for creation and editing of org-mode files in Android, and syncing with Dropbox. Being able to view the files would useful, without having to open them in a text editor (e.g. Emacs).

Emacs .org files are not previewed as text.
This means I cannot edit them on the web. It would be great if you could preview these as text.

This is an excellent suggestion. Even better would be to incorporate org-mode rendering in dropbox preview (may even already be supported by whatever rendering backend it uses?). I currently export my notes to html just to allow my colleagues to read them, but this introduces a disconnect with feedback / updates.

What's the status on this? It would be so good to have .org compatibility with Dropbox Paper.

I actually have another suggestion. Github now displays (renders) org files like they do with markdown files. See

Seeing that a lot of my work I don't do version control for but insted simply save in dropbox and share (via a web link) with collaborators. It would be awesome if dropbox would do this type of automatic rendering as well.

I'd also like this feature, i think it would make sharing these files a lot easier as well, or viewing them when I'm on the go. Currently org mode lacks a great solution for viewing and editing on the go, this would be a killer feature for me.

Simply having the ability to view them as plaintext, especially in the Dropbox Android app, would be much appreciated. Even if it didn't support editing.
Currently it wants to open them with random applications (in particular, it seems to suggest the Plague Inc. game).

This would be so cool, especially with *code blocks*.
