Using Excel through Dropbox.com - how to choose view starting location?

Using Excel through Dropbox.com - how to choose view starting location?

Hello,

I am using Excel through the Dropbox website on Edge with a file on my Dropbox. My file has say 400 rows and every time I open or refresh the file, the starting view is always about 100 rows above where I am working. I have been scrolling down daily for the last few years but now I am done! Is there a way to choose the starting view so it goes back to where I was working?

TIA for any help or suggestions!

Hey there, @willace2, thanks for posting here today!

Did you notice this type of behavior only when using Edge, or with a different browser too?

I'm asking, cause we need to clarify if this is browser-related behavior or not.

Does this happen with all of your Excel files, or a specific one?

Keep me posted!

G'day @Megan  - good thinking, I just tried opening in Chrome and the view goes to exactly where I was working every time. Looks like an Edge problem? They probably want me to pay for Excel and use it on my computer instead 😅

Got it @willace2!

At least we managed to locate that this is happening on Edge.

If I were you, I'd definitely clear my browser's cache and I'd also restore my browser to its default settings and disable any browser plugins.
