Greetings! I’ve bought a Family subscription and have sent an invite to a user who currently has a Plus monthly subscription through the App Store. They have cancelled their Plus subscription through the App Store which now says that their subscription will expire on 29th of January however at the moment when they try to accept my invite to join the ‘Family’ they receive an error message? Do they need to wait for the current subscription through the App Store to completely expire before they’ll be able to accept my invite?
Any advice appreciated!

More than likely. Cancelling just prevents a subscription from auto-renewing at the end of the billing cycle. It doesn't actually downgrade the account until the remaining time on the subscription has expired. Until that time, they're technically still on a Plus account.
