Disaster with my account and plan

The dropbox account I have, has always been managed by my son. When I paid this year (2021) I by accicent used my own email address now we would like to rectify this but we do not know how to - should he log in with his password or should I (I do not remember what my passport is as the system keeps on telling me it is wrong)?

Please could you assist as the money has been paid but my dropbox is no longer updating.

Generally, if you don't remember the password, you can reset it by following these steps

As for your main concern, could you clarify if you'd like to change the email address that is associated with your upgraded account, or if you'd like to swap the subscriptions so that your son's account has it?

Finally, you mention that your Dropbox account isn't updating - could you give me with more information on this?

For example, do you find that changes made to files are not showing up on your desktop app, mobile app, or website?
