Hey guys,
I have around 0.5TB data on my 2TB Dropbox. What happens with that 0.5TB data when i downgrade to the free version? Will it all be deleted or will it just not be accessible anymore? (Just wondering in case i will switch back to Dropbox later). Because if it will get deleted i have to copy the data onto my server.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Initially, nothing will happen. Your data will remain in your account and it will still be accessible, but syncing will stop if you're over quota. You'd still be able to download or delete files through the Dropbox website if needed. You just couldn't make any changes or add more files.
If you then don't access your account for more than a year, it would be deleted due to inactivity along with all content.
Hi @dragonoob69,
The data themself are not deleted. You should keep accessing your account and make sure it's not left unaccessed for longer than an year! Non active accounts get deleted (and their content in the same context), so keep this in mind. Since downgrade, you're going to get over quota. When you are in overquota you can still access/download/delete your data (using web browser) but no more able to sync/add data. Ability to sync data may be restored with new subscription or delete some content to fit within account capacity.
Hope this clarifies matter.
