Increased Subscription When Updating Card Details

Hi, as there was no option to update my new countries card number I had to let the sub expire, to then enter my new country card details, ONCE expired.  When I went to resubscribe with new details (only a few days after the previous sub), the billing seems to have increased by nearly 35% - is this correct??? My billing in Jan 2020 was $137.86 and now is $184.67... surely not....??? Please advise!

Hi @KiwiGirl, thanks for joining the Community.

It sounds like you moved to a country with a different taxation rate under the new currency. 

Dropbox collects and remits tax on transactions when required to do so. Taxability and tax rate are generally determined by the location of the buyer and seller, and various state and local tax laws.
