problems changing eamils

Hello I'm trying to change my original log in email but it keeps telling me that I can't use the one I'm trying to use. I get emails/notifications with the new email as it appears to be a secondary. I need to change the log in to the new address as the other will be closing. How do I change it as it keeps coming up with an error. Thanks for your help

Hi there @DDM1, thanks for dropping by. 

It sounds like you are getting an error message saying that the email you're trying to update your account with is already in use. 

Just to make sure that we're on the same page, do you have it set up as a secondary email or do you have another Dropbox account associated with it?
