If I upgrade and then revert to basic do I lose the space I earned?

Hi all,

If I upgrade from Dropbox basic and then find I need to revert to basic, do I lose the basic expansion space I earned by making referrals.

I earned 6.2G which suits me well, I'm unsure that I'll use much more, but I could not manage if it reverted to 2G

Does anyone know for sure please?

many thanks

Neil

No, you won't lose the original space earned through your referrals. As long as you're on a paid subscription your referral space will double from 500MB to 1GB each. After you downgrade back to Basic your referral space will be halved back to 500MB each.

My basic account is 6 Gb. If I upgrade now, and later revert to "basic", will my capacity revert to the original 6gb?
