Referral invitation removal

A friend was given a referral invitation five years ago and never signed up.

Here's what is going on:

• His email address is still on the referral list in Dropbox.
• Dropbox displays he hasn't yet installed Dropbox on his computer.

Is there any way to remove the invitation?

No, there isn't. If he ever signs up, you'll still get credit for the referral, and until then, it doesn't count against the maximum referrals you can earn. It's safe to just ignore it.

Can help to do a system removal?

These are sent during the previous setup process which sent to the contact list.
