Copy text from Word

Copy text from Word

Hi,

 

I use to be able to copy a piece of text from a Word document in Dropbox and paste it somewhere outside of Dropbox. I suddenly can no long do this. I can't even high-lite the text with my mouse. Please let me know what happened and how I can correct this.

 

I am using Windows 10 and have been using Firefox web browser.

Hey @RR_DT, welcome to our Community! 

Can you try a different browser, or an incognito tab on your current one? 

Do you get the same results when you try there? 

If so, feel free to send me some screenshots of what's happening on your end, so I can have a better visual.

Hi Lori,

 

Thanks for the response. I did try another browser and I was also not able to copy a text. The browsers I tried was Microsoft Edge.

 

However, later in the day yesterday, I was able to copy text again. I still don't know what happened though. I did sign out and sign back in, but that could not have been the solution since they problem of copying text has been going on for a few days.

 

It started happening while I was working with a text, so my gut feeling is that I accidentally hit something that changed an option or something like that.  Some mistake perhaps working with my laptop touchpad. Mistakes like that have happened in the past, but like I said, I really don't know what caused this.
