File selection scrolling to bottom

File selection scrolling to bottom

gregneese

When I attempt to select a specific folder that begins with the letter K, Dropbox takes me all the way to the bottom of all files. I’m not able to select any other lettered folders, I have to manually scroll up to select the folder I want to view or use. This happens on all platforms, Windows OS and IOS.

Hey @gregneese, thanks for reaching out!

Are you having this issue on the Dropbox website or the application (both mobile and desktop)?

If it's on the website, can you try from a different browser or from an incognito/private browsing window, to see if that helps?

Let me know how it goes!

This same thing happens to me when using the desktop app. Is there a way for it to not automatically scroll to the bottom of the list?

@Hannah

This keeps happening to us also, using the desktop app. Whenever we select a different heading modifier, or even group of files from the left sidebar, the app automatically scrolls all the way down to the bottom of the list, so that we manually have to scroll back up to find the files we want. As you can imagine, it's pretty annoying! Can anything be done about this? Thanks!
