Final files not downloading/syncing

Final files not downloading/syncing

After several days of syncing about 100Gb of files DB stopped at the last 38 files. 

I've tried:

 - Reboot machine

 - Login out and back in

 - Flushed the browser cache

 - Uninstalled and reinstalled Dropbox 

 - Changed the selective sync to see if I could find the "38" files 

No matter what I try - the same result, still downloading/syncing 38 files

Any advice appreciated

Hi @jkahne, thanks for messaging today!

Are you able to see any folders on your account trying to sync the files by seeing the sync icons on the folder?

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

I found the folder (blue circle) and deleted some of the files which got it down to a dozen.  That seemed to help. 

However, now there are still some that are "locked" and I cannot figure out how to unlock them and because of that - I can't delete them either.  At this point I don't think it's a dropbox thing I think it's a Mac thing

After deleting the files/folders it seemed to clear up.  I did the hardlinks and permissions update you suggested just to be sure.  Seems all is well again in DB land
