I want my Camera Uploads folder to be organized to always show photos chronologically with the most recent first. That seems like an obvious default and yet every single time I open it, it shows random ancient files and I have to select Modify and most recent first. Why?73Views0likes4CommentsMy camera uploads stopped uploading new files on my iPhone.
Until May 18, all the photos I take with my iPhone (iOS 18.1.1) were automatically sync'd into my Dropbox Camera Uploads folder. Since then, the new images are not going into the folder. My phone is fully charged, on strong wifi, and I haven't changed any settings. How do I get it to continue uploading photos to the Camera Uploads Dropbox folder?121Views0likes7CommentsCan I export the entire "camera uploads" folder to my device?
I've already search online and here but I can't find a solution. I've deleted by error the "camera" folder on my android phone (S23 Ultra). I still have all photos in the dropbox folder named "Camera uploads", but when I click on the "..." of the folder and "duplicate" I can't find the phone's folder to copy again the files on my phone. I've found online also that I could use the option "Save on device" but unfortunately I don't have that option :( The only option I get are: - Share - Manage access - Make available offline (enables) - Remove from Special - View in folder - Rename - Duplicate - Move - Delete Can someone help me to restore the folder on my phone ??? Thanks in advance Alfredo92Views0likes8CommentsDoes Dropbox delete the original photos from the gallery after uploading them?
I downloaded Dropbox again yesterday after several years, and it asked for permission to access my photos — I allowed it. Immediately, my photos started uploading to Dropbox in real-time. I panicked, stopped the upload, and deleted the app. But the problem is, even the precious photos that were in my photo gallery are now completely gone. Does Dropbox delete the original photos from the gallery when uploading them? I have no way to recover them now, and I’ve lost all the precious photos of my grandmothe46Views1like2CommentsHow to delete my Dropbox Backup files

Hello, when I receive a text message with image from an iPhone user, I download the image to my phone but it does not show in my camera upload folder. I have been reading there are ways Dropbox will convert the file as well, but the information I have seen seems to be only for iPhones. I looked into my settings and there isn't options to back up convert .heic files. I currently have Dropbox Plus. Without having to manually share each picture to Dropbox, how do I get Dropbox to back up .heic files? How do I get Dropbox to convert the files when they are in my Camera Uploads folder?29Views0likes1CommentMy Android photos won't upload to my Dropbox account and now, I can't sign back in either.

Yesterday I noticed my iPhone photos were being uploaded as still JPGs, likely loosing valuable moments I captured in Live Photos and having some quality drop due to JPG compression. I changed my settings to HEIC + Live Photos. However, all my already synced photos would still be low quality and limited to a single frame. When making such Camera Upload settings change, it would be great to offer an option to reupload all the local photos currently in the camera roll, replacing the instances with different settings. Alternatively, offering an in-app option to reset the Camera Upload state in Dropbox servers, so that it no longer recognizes all photos as already synced, could achieve the same effect via a more hidden path.44Views0likes3CommentsHow to reset my camera uploads, I tried everything
Hi! I need to force the Android app to re-upload all the photos in my gallery. I set it up so it uploads everything, not just new photos, but it will only upload new items. I believe it recognizes older pics as "already uploaded" and I don't know how to reset this. I have already: -re-installed the app -deleted the cache memory -deleted all files in the Dropbox camera upload folder -restarted the device -even tried from a new device with a different SD card but with the same files in it Still, Dropbox will only upload new files. I also tried manually uploading but due to the fíes being cover 1500, the app never stops processing the files and never uploads anything. I'm on Android 12 and no other apps are set toSolved7.4KViews1like98Comments
