Camera Uploads
314 TopicsI need to reset my Camera Uploads and re-upload my photos
Hello, I need to reset the camera upload on my iPhone so that dropbox will sync the entire photo library again. How can I do that? I understand that there's no option to do that myself, since I'm on the basic plan, but Support can do it for me. If a Dropboxer here could open a ticket on my behalf I would be grateful. Thank you ! Hi guys, I am trying to stop Dropbox Desktop from uploading my photos and videos from my desktop. When I go into Preferences > Backups > Camera Uploads, the only two option I get are "upload photos only" or "upload photos and videos". I do not want to upload any photos or videos. There is no option to turn this off. Am i missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have Dropbox (now version 233.4.4938) as an app on macOS Tahoe 26.0.1, but the issue has persisted across many versions. I regularly want to upload new photos from my iPhone SE, now version iOS 18.6.2. When I enable Camera Uploads (under Preferences > Backups), the first time I connect my iPhone any new photos do get uploaded as intended. But on the second and any subsequent connections, an annoying popup appears, stating, Can’t import photos from this device. I need to disconnect my phone, turn Camera Uploads off and on again, and reconnect my phone, to get new photos uploaded. But most of the time there are no new photos anyway, I just want to connect my phone. The annoying thing about this popup is that it quite large and remains on top until I click it away, so I cannot just ignore it. Is there a way (that does not cost money) to avoid this while remaining able to upload photos?Solved107Views0likes12CommentsNew files from camera uploads not showing in the Photos tab in iOS 26 (17promax)

It will upload the photos/videos, but the display will not show any new photos added. New items can be found in camera upload folder, but not in the "Photos" tab on the app as it will not fresh that at all. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and sometimes get the error message that the camera uploads folder doesn't exist and will be created on next upload. But the folder is there and new images are added.84Views0likes2CommentsCreative Ways to Use Dropbox Paper for Photo Shoot Planning and Notes 📸
