Issue with the 500 MB Referral Bonus. "Waiting for installation" status.
âHow does the Dropbox referral program work to get the 500 MB bonus? I sent a link to a friend, they created an account using the link, installed the application, and logged in with the same email. However, my account still shows the message: "waiting for installation." âJak dziaĆa polecanie w Dropbox, ktĂłre ma daÄ mi 500 MB? WysĆaĆem znajomemu link, on zaĆoĆŒyĆ konto, zainstalowaĆ aplikacjÄ i zalogowaĆ siÄ tym samym e-mailem, a na moim koncie nadal widnieje komunikat: âoczekiwanie na instalacjÄâ.
Compte Dropbox est vide et pourtant il m'annonce 76 mo utilisés .
Bonjour, Je n'ai aucun fichier dans ma Dropbox. Je n'ai pas fait de partage (étant bien incapable de comprendre comment ça fonctionne de toute façon). La fonction backup est désactivée. J'ai supprimé définitivement tous les fichiers qui étaient présents dans la corbeille (en remontant jusqu'au début de mon utilisation de Dropbox) Malgré cela il m'annonce encore 76.02mo utilisés. Pouvez-vous corriger ce bug ? Merci.

Bonjour, j'ai Ă©tĂ© invitĂ© Ă transfĂ©rer des photos dans un dossier Dropbox, et aprĂšs transfert de quelques photos je reçois en permanence des alertes de limites de stockage de "mon" Dropbox alors que je n'ai fait que transfĂ©rer quelques images. Le crĂ©ateur de ce dossier de partage arrive bien Ă ajouter des photos dans le dossier. Je n'arrive pas Ă les visualiser avec le message "Les fonctionnalitĂ©s dâaperçu sont limitĂ©es car vous dĂ©passez votre limite de stockage" Je ne comprends donc pas du tout comment cela est possible? My (free) Dropbox account appears to have lost its extra referral space.
Dropbox Plan Standard Device Desktop/iphone Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Windows 11 Question or Issue I was a very early adopter and recommended Dropbox to many others, earning the maximum (I believe) storage space through my efforts. I have a number of not-for-profit files on the system, which are now under threat because Dropbox is now saying I only have a 2GB allowance. This came about after I uploaded some files on a temporary basis and hit my maximum storage space. This was quickly addressed, but I seem to have lost the space that I previously enjoyed, having earned it via referrals. I need to know whether or not it is recoverable, as I will have to make other arrangements for my not-for-profit activities if it isn't recoverable.Make it easy and fast to locate and delete the largest files in your account.
I have 10 years of content on my dropbox. When it's full or when I want to clear some space, it takes me 4 hours+ to select all folders, calculate the space and then delete them. Why is this so unpractical? I want to easily spot all the big files and delete them All other apps have this functionality, yet Dropbox doesnt. Fix this please.

I would like to know, why account was locked. After my storage allegedly got too full. I thought extortion was against the law. Forcing individuals to pay for a plan or they loss all their pictures of their babies and their legal documents. Won't make these individuals want to become clients. Over the last few days, I have invited four people to use dropbox via the referral link, hoping to benefit from the referral bonus. Two of these invites were genuine: to other people who have seen me use dropbox and appreciated it's functionality. However, in each case, they clicked on the link, signed up, downloaded the app (onto a computer that has never had it installed before, I have read these forums) - and both times on my referral page it came up as ineligible. So, I decided to test it out further, and used two of my burner emails. I have two old computers that again, have never had dropbox installed, so followed the same process and, again, ineligible. Why does it not work? Which part have I missed? I thought the limit was 16gb, but it seems I've been capped at 4.25gb.
Is there a way to add 500 MB to my free account? My OCD would thank you!
Hi everyone, Sorry in advance for what might be a silly question. Iâve managed (with some effort!) to complete all the steps to get free storage space â the 16 GB from referrals and so on â and Iâve now reached 19.5 GB in total. If I didnât have a bit of OCD, this wouldnât bother me (thatâs honestly more than enough space for my needs), but that non-round number is driving me crazy! Is there any way to add the missing 500 MB to make it an even 20 GB? Assuming thatâs even possible!
