I started a free trial then was charged for the essential plan. My bank flagged it as fraud and canceled the card. I contacted dropbox for a refund, which they provided however, the card on file is the one that ny bank canceled. Now that my plan has dropped to basic I cannot get any help to update the card & receive the funds. I do not have an option to update billing as it's blank. Hi everyone, In early April, I contacted Dropbox Support to cancel my paid subscription. On April 4th, I received confirmation via Ticket #24953311 that the cancellation and refund had been processed, and that the amount would be returned within 3 to 5 business days. However, more than a month has passed and I still haven’t received the refund. I tried reaching out again, but was redirected to an unmonitored inbox (Ticket #25009410), and haven’t received any response since. Has anyone in the community experienced a similar issue or knows how to actually get in touch with someone from the Dropbox team who can help? Hi, I have a problem with dropbox. I tried contacting the billing team and they havent got back to me yet and its been 3 days since. I never received any response from them. I just noticed at my online banking that they've been deducting money from my bank account since November 2024! every. single. month. Any advice??????? As titled, I have never authorized any payments with my free plan, yet I found I was charged $119.88 on March 25 2025, when I look back I found out I was actually charged the same amount on 2024. I only have one account (this one). No transaction id associated with my transaction, so I cannot use the lookup tool. This is extremely frustrating, I have read many discussions with the same issue but no clear solve was found. Please help. Hi all, I am sure this has been asked before but couldn't find anything that quite fit my problem. I have an old dormant Dropbox Plus subscription that I need to cancel... but the email address associated with the account has been deactivated many years ago. When I try to log into Dropbox on this old account, I get past the password entry and then get notified that a 6 digit code has been emailed to the deactivated email address (which I cannot access), so I cannot complete the authentication step to log into the Dropbox Plus account and go through the cancellation process. I have tried multiple methods to contact Dropbox support but there does not seem to be a way I can actually talk to a person? Morning, I just received two email stating I upgraded to the essentials plan, I was on basic and am guessing this was a trial period upgrade. I have sent an email requesting cancellation of the upgrade with refund through PayPal. I am from Australia if that helps, is this the correct process or is there something else to do? I noticed on my CC that I’m being charged by Dropbox again. I have only had a free account, so I was puzzled. Investigation resulted in finding someone fraudulently is using my info on an acct. And charging my CC. Obv I want that stopped. How do I report it, and stop further charges? There’s little I can do bcz I only have a basic acct and can’t call customer service.
