Hello Jessejackson, Hope that you are well! You should be able to download a file from the Dropbox API without using its full file path. There are multiple ways to reference a file that can be used with the path parameter when executing the 2/files/download endpoint. For example, you can reference a file on Dropbox based on its file_id.
