Checking if download has completed
My language is Java.
I need to download a file from Dropbox and then I need to run it.
The problem is that if I run it too early, it won't run, and everyones' download speeds are different so the...

9 years agoAre you using one of the official Java SDKs? If you're using the v1 Java SDK, you can use the getFile method:
In the v2 Java SDK, you would use the download method:
In either case, you shouldn't run anything that requires that data until the data has been downloaded. The v1 method blocks until the data has been downloaded. The v2 method returns an object you can use to read out the data.
