Connection timeout

How do I find the trace root to report it. My dropbox sync to Scrivener on my ipad has been timing out on all attempts over the past 24 hours. Files begin syncing and after approx five minutes and 10 file transfer/update I get sync timeout message; try again later. This is now impeding work flow. Please advise on status of connection timeouts the past week.
