use following code for upload request 

byte[] byteArray = System.IO.File.ReadAllBytes(@"C:\Srusti\codingstandards.docx");
System.IO.MemoryStream stream1 = new System.IO.MemoryStream(byteArray);
var updated = await dbx.Files.UploadAsync( folder + "/" + file,WriteMode.Overwrite.Instance, body: stream1);
